Vale David Carr 1932 – 2023

Vale David Carr

15/06/1932 – 18/07/2023

Tribute

Sadly we lost David on 18/07/2023 A Legend of Australian Masters Athletics – 2022 WMA Best Male Athlete of the year and AMA Hall of Fame inductee in 2015

David was also the MAWA Patron, Life Member and Champion Athlete,  he had been unwell following his trip to Poland in 2022 to receive the WMA Best Male Masters Athlete of the Year Award

Our thoughts are with Patricia and David’s family and friends at this very sad time.

AMA Standards 2023

New AMA updated to 2023 Standards are now available

Take a look at the updated AMA standards and see if you are eligible for a Level 1, 2 or 3 certificate.
Under ‘Awards’ you will find the section on AMA Standards for women and men in track and field performances. You can even do up your very own certificate.

Thanks to Don Quinn for his tireless work in this area and for working out all the data.
